SPIRIT GUIDE

The Chinese dragon is a spiritual and cultural symbol that represents prosperity and good luck, as well as a rain deity that fosters harmony.

Dragons are strong, protective, powerful, and wise. My connections to them run deep: I was born in the year of the Water Dragon – s/he transforms negative energy into positive. After visiting China, I adopted her/him as my spiritual guide.

When cancer struck, with its dangers and darkness, I turned to Water Dragon for guidance, and safe harbour. Within the refuge of Water Dragon Spirit, my fears withdrew, allowing me to move forward.

In honor and gratitude, I challenged myself to create a large Water Dragon for my spirit garden. 6 kiln loads and 8 big sections later, my 6 foot long Water Dragon stands high, watching over me and my spirit garden. At night, s/he becomes my night light, assuring me I am safe.
