Dear Friends, Family and Students, This Fall season is full of wonderful opportunities, and I am delighted to share them with you. This year of the dragon has inspired me to create a Dragon Art Show. Dragons are wise, strong and powerful protective creatures, transforming negative into positive energy. My Dragon Art Show Exhibit has been installed and the Opening Reception is on October 18th at the College of Marin. We will be doing a short Dragon Qigong experience at 6:45pm. Details are in the poster below. On October 29 there is an amazing jazz concert at Yoshi’s in Oakland featuring Lena Sunday and Lloyd Gregory. A benefit concert for the Fountain Project Foundation providing free Eastern and Western medicine to those in need. Tickets are going fast so let me know ASAP if you want to attend. On November 3rd I will be co-teaching a joint workshop, Yin Yoga and Qigong at the JCC. I will be teaching the lovely Five Element Form. On November 15th we will be doing a Wild Goose Qigong Demonstration at the College, allowing all students to share this practice with their family and friends. The art gallery will be open with a selections of dragon art and jewelry for sale. Wishing you a wonderful Fall ahead. I hope to see you at some of these wonderful events. Dear Friends and Students, After a short visit to Taos, New Mexico with my daughter, I am now rejuvenated and ready for Fall to begin. This is going to be an amazing season. So much is happening. Being the year of the Dragon, new events are transpiring. The College of Marin Student Union cafeteria building is now displaying my ceramic dragons in their showcase for the month of September. Their enchanting presence commands the entry hall. From October to December, the Emeritus College Gallery will be featuring my Dragon Art Work. There will be a gallery opening reception on October 18th from 5:30-7:30pm with a Dragon Qigong Experience at 6:30pm. I will also be featured in the next college newspaper, the Echo Times. There will be a Wild Goose Qigong Demonstration at 7:00pm in the college cafeteria on Nov 15th with a reception at the Emeritus Art Gallery, featuring dragon arts and jewelry for sale. As the new academic year begins all Qigong classes are ready to go, new students are always welcome to register. From popular demand, Aqua Chi classes in warm healing waters will continue September 13, 20, and 27th. Please RSVP to reserve a space. Wild Goose Qigong at the Civic Center duck pond will continue on Tuesdays in September from 5:30-6:45. Practicing with the geese in their serene environment is very inspiring, relaxing and uplifting. I hope to see you at the Dragon Art opening reception and at a Qigong class. Keep posted on upcoming events at www.dragonartsstudio.com or contact me at dove@dragonartsstudio.com. More photos of my blog and art work are upcoming on my website. Chi Blessings with gratitude, Dove
